enough (by david whyte)

Enough. These few words are enough.
If not these words, this breath.
If not this breath, this sitting here.

This opening to the life
we have refused
again and again
until now.
Until now

spacious love

Can you feel
this electricity
in the air

between us?

these clouds of electrons
dancing and flirting
in the radiant space
that fills and connects us?

When we meet
in these wide open fields
between our hearts,
our bodies start tingling,
as we let ourselves feel
the currents of energy
always flowing within
and between
everything.

Is there anything more nourishing
than saying “yes!” to life’s invitation
to experience this depth of communion,
no longer fooled by visual illusions of separation.

Friends,
If you ever get
to witness others
quietly enjoying
each other’s presence
like that,
don’t stand by
and feel left out.

Join
and drink in
this spacious loving.

Sooner or later,
we all receive
subtle evidence
that we’re
always
atomically
and intimately
connected
with each other,
